Progressive Scores 2020

The GMZJGA Calendar started off in February with the GMJZGA junior pennants, although the GMJZGA did not hold the Jim Robertson in 2019 due to no clubs having  a full team together for each of the events.  The matchplay pennants had a successful year with 4 teams representing their home clubs from Caboolture, Pine Rivers, Wantima, and Pelican Waters with 2 teams.

All games were very close throughout the season and it came down to the last match before we could work out who where going to be in the finals.  The final was played at Maleny GC between Wantima & Caboolture and none of the juniors were giving up without a fight with some matches going to the 18th hole.

The winner for the 2019 Pennants was Wantima winning the day 3 & 2, this was the 6th win out of 7 years for Wantima which is an outstanding effort for Wantima and their juniors and coaching staff.  Caboolture put up a very good fight on the day but Wantima was just too strong. Congratulations to Wantima and to all players and teams for a great year.

The 2018 Junior Pennant Final was held at Maleny Golf Club on Sunday 22nd April.

It was a great final, played fairly and competitively.

It came down to the last hole. Wantima were successful over Pelican Waters.

Junior Golf – Wow, these Girls and Guys are good.

The 2018 Jim Robertson (9 Hole Championship) was held in conjunction with the Pennant Final.

The 2018 Championship goes to Pelican Waters who were winners over Wantima.

Both very strong teams. Some great golf was played. Well done to all the competitors.

Congratulations to all the Players, Parents,  and Officials. It was a great day.

Special thank you to the Maleny Golf Club for supporting Junior Golf and hosting the finals.
